Wupatki National Monument (sh)




National monument, north-central Arizona, U.S. Situated along the Little Colorado River, the monument was established in 1924 and comprises more than 800 red sandstone pueblos built during the 11th-13th centuries.

It has an area of 55 sq mi (142 sq km).
