Disease of the vagina.

Bacterial vaginosis, infection of the vagina of humans that may be caused by Gardnerella vaginalis. Characterised by excessive, sometimes malodorous, discharge.

Synonym: Gardnerella vaginitis, non-specific vaginitis.
