Anatomy. Any formation with a shape likened to a horn, as (a) either of the two lateral cavities of the womb, into which the Fallopian tubes pass; (b) each of three elongated parts of each of the lateral ventricles of the brain; (c) a horn-shaped process on the thyroid cartilage or certain bones (as the hyoid and the coccyx).
