The action of imputing or attributing something, esp. a fault or crime, to a person; the fact of being charged with a fault, crime, etc.; spec. (a) Christian Theology attribution to believers of the righteousness of Christ and to Christ of human sin; (b) Economics attribution of value to resources in accordance with the value of the products to which they contribute.
