a. high jinks, antics indulged in at drinking parties, usu. involving the throwing of dice to decide who should perform some frivolous act. L17-L19.
b. In pl. Usu. more fully high jinks. Boisterous or exuberant play; unrestrained merrymaking. M19.
An act of eluding someone or something; a quick turn, esp. one made so as to elude a pursuer, a tackler, etc. L18.
