Lesser; designating or pertaining to the lesser or relatively lesser of or of two things, classes, etc.; opp. major. Also, comparatively unimportant or insignificant; (of an operation) relatively simple or small scale. In earliest use (Minor), designating a Franciscan friar. ME.
