Scoresby Sound (sh)




Deep inlet, Norwegian Sea, eastern central coast of Greenland.

It runs inland for 70 mi (110 km) and has numerous fjords (the longest is 280 mi, or 451 km) and two large islands. It was charted by William Scoresby in 1822.
