A low, nearly featureless tract of land of undulating relief, esp. one formed by long subaerial erosion of land undisturbed by crustal movement, representing the penultimate stage in the cycle of erosion in a humid climate; a former surface of this kind subsequently uplifted, dissected, buried, etc. L19.
