Any of various instruments or implements with two, three, or more piercing points or tines; a forked instrument, a fork. Now chiefly dial. L15.
A thin projecting thing, a part ending in a point; esp. each of the tines of a fork. M17.
b. The penis. coarse slang. M20.
Comb.: prongbuck (now rare) a pronghorn, esp. a male; prong-hoe an agricultural implement with two curving prongs, used like a hoe; pronghorn, prong-horned antelope a N. American ruminant, Antilocapra americana, the sole member of the family Antilocapridae, resembling an antelope but having deciduous hooked horns in the male.
