I.
Medicine. (Of discharges etc.) purulent, foul; (of an ulcer, wound, etc.) discharging matter of this kind. Now rare or obsolete. LME.
Of a place, condition, appearance, etc.: dirty, foul, filthy; mean and squalid. E17.
