Biochemistry. A phosphoprotein which is present in the nuclei of non-replicating or senescent cells, but not in cells that are undergoing replication. L20.
Pharmacology. Any of a class of cyclic organic compounds that inhibit the synthesis of cholesterol in the bloodstream, and are used in the treatment of high blood cholesterol levels. L20.
