Medicine. The condition of having a club-foot.
Comb.: talipes equinovarus [Latin equinus EQUINE, VARUS noun2] the commonest variety of club-foot, in which the foot is twisted inwards and downwards so that the person walks on the outer edge of the tip; talipes valgus [Latin VALGUS] a form of club-foot in which the foot is turned outwards, so that the person walks on the inner edge of the foot; talipes varus [Latin VARUS noun2] a form of club-foot in which the foot is turned inwards, so that the person walks on the outer edge of the foot.
