A hereditary disease in which numerous neurofibromas develop on various parts of the body, esp. the skin, nerve trunks, and peripheral nerves. Also called Recklinghausen's disease. E20.
A disease in which bones are weakened as a result of hyperparathyroidism, leading to bowing and fracture of long bones and sometimes deformities of the chest and spine. Also called osteitis fibrosa cystica. E20.
