Branches distributed to the ureter. Although not listed by Nomina Anatomica, ureteric branches also rise regularly from the 1) abdominal aorta, 2) common iliac artery, and 3) internal iliac artery. Ureteric branches from the inferior vesical artery are constant in occurrence and supply the terminal portion of the ureter.
