ABSOLUTE. Without any condition or encumbrance, as an "absolute bond,"simplex obligatio, in distinction from a conditional bond; an absolutesimplex obligatio, in distinction from a conditional bond; an absoluteestate, one that is free from all manner of condition or incumbrance.
