<chemical> 1-(3-mercaptopropanoic acid)-8-d-argininevasopressin. A synthetic analog of argipressin with longer lasting and more potent antidiuretic action than argipressin. It is used to treat diabetes insipidus.

Pharmacological action: hypoglycaemic agents, renal agents.
