<cell biology> Mucin like glycoprotein found on surface of human tumour cells (also called CA antigen) but not nontumourigenic cell lines. It is present on the surface of some specialised cells (sweat glands, type II pneumocytes from lung, bladder epithelium) and may therefore be a normal differentiation antigen Also present in normal urine.
