<chemical> (6 alpha,11 beta)-21-(3-carboxy-1-oxopropoxy)-11,17-dihydroxy-6-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione. A water-soluble ester of methylprednisolone used for cardiac, allergic, and hypoxic emergencies.

Pharmacological action: steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, antineoplastic agent, hormonal, glucocorticoids, synthetic, glucocorticoids, topical, neuroprotective agents.

The angle between the heart and the diaphragm at either lateral end of the cardiac projection on imaging (usually the chest X-ray Film). The right cardiophrenic angle is normally indistinguishable from the cardiohepatic angle radiographically.
