Music. Of or pertaining to the 11th-cent. Italian musician Guido d'Arezzo, the reputed inventor of the system of hexachords. Chiefly in Guidonian hand, a drawing of the left hand marked with the degrees of the scale and the solmization according to the system devised by Guido.
