p-dimethylaminoazobenzene
<chemical> N,n-dimethyl-4-(phenylazo)benzenamine. Reagent used primarily for the induction of experimental liver cancer. According to the fourth annual report on carcinogens (ntp 85-002, p. 89) published in 1985, this compound "may reasonably be anticipated to be a carcinogen." (merck, 11th ed)

Pharmacological action: carcinogens, dyes.

Chemical name: Benzenamine, N,N-dimethyl-4-(phenylazo)-
