Curried Beef Burgers (recipes)




Yield: Makes 4 servings



Ingredients:



1pound 95% lean ground beef

1/4cup mango chutney, chopped

1/4cup grated apple

1-1/2teaspoons curry powder

1/2teaspoon salt

1/8teaspoon black pepper

1large red onion, sliced 1/4 inch thick

4kaiser rolls or hamburger buns









Preparation:





1.Preheat grill.2.Combine ground beef, chutney, apple, curry powder, salt and pepper in medium bowl; mix lightly. Shape into four patties.3.Grill over medium heat, covered, 8 to 10 minutes (or, uncovered, 13 to 15 minutes) to medium (160°F) or to desired doneness, turning once. Grill onions 5 minutes or until lightly charred, turning once. Serve with burgers.
