Franklin' s Favorite Apple Pie (recipes)

Ingredients:



1/4cup sugar

3tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/4teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4teaspoon ground nutmeg

4large Red Delicious apples, cored, peeled and sliced

2tablespoons butter, melted

1teaspoon vanilla

1refrigerated folded pie crust (from a 15-ounce package)

Nonstick Cooking spray









Preparation:





1.Preheat oven to 375°F.2.Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in large bowl; mix well. Add apples and toss to coat evenly.3.Pour apple mixture into 9-inch pie plate. Combine butter and vanilla in small bowl and pour over apples. Cover apples with crust, seal edges and flute, if desired.4.Lightly coat crust with Cooking spray and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until crust is golden and apples are tender.
