Yield: Makes enough to fill and frost 2 (8-inch) round or square cake layers or frost 1 (13X9-inch) cake



Ingredients:



24large marshmallows, halved

2/3cup semisweet chocolate chips

1/2cup shortening

1/2cup water

5cups sifted powdered sugar

3teaspoons vanilla









Preparation:





1.Place marshmallows, chocolate chips, shortening and water in 1-1/2-quart saucepan. Cook over low heat until melted and smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes. Gradually beat in sugar and vanilla with electric mixer at medium speed about 6 minutes or until mixture starts to lose gloss. Use frosting immediately.
