Ingredients:



2pounds fresh green beans

2tablespoons olive oil

3cloves garlic, minced

1tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce

1/8teaspoon black pepper









Preparation:





1.Rinse beans, but do not drain or dry. Snap into 2-inch lengths. Set aside.2.Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat. Cook garlic 1 to 2 minutes or until aromatic, taking care not to burn. Add soy sauce and wet beans. Cover and steam, lifting lid to stir occasionally. Steam beans until tender-crisp and bright green, adding small amounts of water if needed. Sprinkle with pepper before serving.
