Potatoes are a wonderful comfort food-not just because they taste great but also because they provide many terrific health benefits. Low in calories and high in vitamin C, potassium and fiber, potatoes are a smart, economical choice for dinner-and always a popular one!





Ingredients:



1pound baking potatoes

2tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley

2teaspoons canola oil

1/2teaspoon garlic powder

1/2teaspoon onion powder

1/2teaspoon ground red pepper

1/2teaspoon dried thyme leaves

1/4teaspoon black pepper









Preparation:





1.Preheat oven to 400°F. Peel potatoes; cut each potato lengthwise into 8 wedges. Place on ungreased jelly-roll pan.2.Toss potatoes with parsley, oil, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper, thyme and black pepper until evenly coated.3.Bake 50 minutes, turning wedges halfway through cooking time. Serve immediately.
